The Eastern House has been serving a varied
menu of ‘comfort’ food, Greek specials and seafood
dishes since 1966. A full page of lunch and dinner specials
that change daily supplements the regular menu. The lunch
menu offers traditional sandwiches as well as entrees such
as Baked Stuffed Oysters, lump crabmeat with Roquefort dressing
baked on rye bread, sauted soft crab sandwich, prime rib and
Virginia ham served with cabbage and boiled potatoes. The
dinner menu is equally mouth watering.

The restaurant has an authentic décor and murals enhance

Samo’s specialize in Greek and American
food. The combination platter boasts that Greek flavour consists
of stuffed grapevine leaves, spinach pie, gyro meat, souvlaki
meat, tsasiki sauce and Greek salad. However, the new lamb
dinner with roasted potatoes is the best.
